Over 90% of my new clients come through referral.. While we already had some mechanism in place to monitor our referral source, we were never able to comprehensively identify the right referral partners at many times.. This led us to spending more time with seemingly “prospective” referral sources who never delivered!!
This is when, I casually got invited to attend a workshop being held by Sridhar Venkataraman. Sridhar, having been a good friend and a guide to me on many personal issues earlier; I went into the workshop with an open mind. And I must say, I wasn’t quite prepared on influence this event would have on me. While funneling our referral source was one of the key topics of this program for which I had joined in; the sessions on Emotionally Charged Connection (ECC) and preparing the Vision statement were the proverbial “cherry on the cake” !!
ECC helped me to realize the connect of my past experiences with whatever I did today and helped me mold my sales pitch to prospective clients using my inherent strengths as a key, that I came to identify at the end of the ECC session. The sessions on preparing the vision statement were very insightful and it gave me an opportunity to realign my thoughts and ambitions into a target Vision that I have conceived to achieve for myself in a stated time frame.
